Our objective for this program is to:

Empower both teachers and learners from selected rural schools with the emerging 4IR skills and introduce smart learning at those schools. 

The specific interventions and planned initiatives include:

• Schools visits and co-designing of the training programs with key stakeholders;
• Awareness of 4IR and emerging technologies in Eastern Cape Schools through webinars, digital marketing and other online means;
• Appointment and training of 4IR facilitators and assessors and researchers
• Customized 4IR Learning Content development
• Training of both teachers and learners on the following emerging 4IR skills:
  • Cybersecurity skills and awareness
  • Social Media for Learning (Online learning through social media)
  • Gamification
  • Mobile and e-learning for remote learning/ virtual learning
• Monitoring and evaluation through engaged schools’ feedback
• Report writing

The duration of the program is expected to be 6 months – July 2021 – December 2021.
